Johnny J's Pub & Grille, Portage Lakes (3333 Manchester Rd #3, Akron, OH 44319) is an Irish-style pub with sports on the screens, kitchen open until 2am (venue closes 2:30am). We're hiring a Line Cook to prepare menu items on the grill, fryer, sauté, prep, or expo stations for a menu built around starters, burgers and handhelds, and jumbo wings.

What you'll do:
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Work grill, fryer, sauté, prep, or expo stations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen cleanup
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Support teammates during busy shifts
What you'll need:
- Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and work hard
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team-oriented attitude and positive work ethic
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Schedule: Scheduled as Full-Time or Part-Time, with shifts across the pub's daily 11am–2:30am hours; kitchen is open until 2am.
