Johnny J's Pub & Grille, Portage Lakes (3333 Manchester Rd #3, Akron, OH 44319) is an Irish-style pub with sports on the screens, open daily 11am–2:30am. We're hiring a Server to take orders, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and deliver a friendly guest experience across the dining room, including nights covering the pub's Tuesday trivia.

What you'll do:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Demonstrate menu knowledge and make recommendations to guests
- Ensure food and drinks are delivered promptly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
- Follow all alcohol service and food safety guidelines
What you'll need:
- Previous serving or bartending experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout a shift
- Must meet Ohio requirements for serving alcohol
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have:
- Strong communication skills
- POS system experience
Schedule: Scheduled as Full-Time or Part-Time, with shifts across the pub's daily 11am–2:30am hours. Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings is needed.
