The Nut House Pub & Grille, a pub and grille on the Water Street side of downtown Kent at 295 S Water St, Kent, OH 44240, is hiring a Bartender for the bar with screens. The role takes food and beverage orders and prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Base pay is $5.50/hour plus tips, about $20–$30/hour with tips (estimate).

What you'll do:
- Greet guests and provide attentive service at the bar
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Demonstrate menu knowledge and make recommendations to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
- Follow all alcohol service and food safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
What you'll need:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must meet Ohio requirements for serving alcohol
- Previous serving or bartending experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout a shift
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of common bar drinks, liquors, beer, and wine
- POS system experience
- Strong communication skills
