About Town Tavern: Town Tavern is Green and Copley's genuine neighborhood gathering place — locally owned and community-rooted, where you pull up a stool, grab a pint, and get treated like a regular whether you're catching the game, feeding the family, or ordering delivery to the couch.
What you'll do:
- Mix and pour drinks to recipe, check IDs, and monitor guest alcohol consumption
- Set up and break down the bar, including cutting garnish and stocking liquor, beer, and wine
- Run tabs, process payments, and reconcile the register at the end of each shift
- Keep the bar top, taps, and glassware clean throughout service
- Coordinate with servers and barbacks to keep drink tickets moving during rushes
- Track inventory counts and flag low stock to the manager on duty
- Enforce house policies on last call and refusing service when needed
What you'll need:
- 1+ year bartending or high-volume serving experience
- Ohio Responsible Alcohol Seller/Server certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Able to lift kegs and cases up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift
- Strong mental math for tabs, pours, and register reconciliation
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have:
- Craft cocktail or mixology background
- Point-of-sale and inventory software experience
