About Town Tavern: Town Tavern is Green and Copley's genuine neighborhood gathering place — locally owned and community-rooted, where you pull up a stool, grab a pint, and get treated like a regular whether you're catching the game, feeding the family, or ordering delivery to the couch.
What you'll do:
- Prep and cook menu items to spec on your assigned station (grill, saute, fry, or pantry)
- Read tickets off the printer or expo and time multiple orders to fire together
- Maintain proper temperatures, portioning, and plating standards on every dish
- Restock and rotate station inventory (first-in, first-out) throughout the shift
- Keep your station, equipment, and walk-in clean to health code standards
- Communicate with expo and other stations to keep tickets moving during rushes
- Break down and deep-clean your station at close
What you'll need:
- 1+ year of line cook or comparable kitchen experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a hot kitchen for a full shift
- Knife skills and comfort with standard kitchen equipment (fryers, flat-tops, ovens)
- Food handler certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have:
- Experience on multiple stations (grill, saute, fry)
- Culinary school or formal training
